The ECX “AMP” is an rc car that comes in a kit with radio and battery complete.

In this class we will be building a radio-controlled car from a kit – the ECX Amp. This is a step by step process that we will complete as a class together over 5 days. We will also discuss radio control car maintenance and repair. If we complete them early, we may meet at an alternate location and practice driving them together on the last day of class. This is intended for children, teens, and adults. Children under 10 will need an adult to supervise and assist with building.

The class dates are March 27-March 31 (Mon-Friday) from 11am -1pm. Hood River Hobbies, LLC is not responsible for unattended children prior to or after this specified class time.

The class fee for this Hood River Community Education is $175 which needs to be paid in full in advance by March 10 at Hood River Hobbies in order for us to have a car kit available for each student. This fee is per kit and some of the fee goes to Hood River Community Education, the rest is to pay for the kit and materials. If a parent and child are working on a car together, there is no additional fee for the extra person.

If there are not a minimum number of people registered and prepaid by March 10, this Hood River Community Education class may be cancelled (and any paid fees will be refunded).
