Pokemon League Sundays
We will be hosting official Pokemon League casual play weekly on Sundays starting at 2pm and ending at 3pm for kids accompanied by parent or assigned guardian + waiver. We have loaner decks and you can bring your own deck.
The league will be a $5 entry fee per player (you will receive one of our store credit coins), but a Pokemon Player ID is required for prizes. You can go to pokemon.com to register for an account and then go to pokemon play settings and get a numerical player ID (two step process). We have an instruction sheet at the shop to help you get a player ID from Pokemon.com if it is confusing.
We can teach a few players how to play each session, but because it take extra time to teach game play, we are limited in how many we can teach each week. It helps if you let us know in advance how many will need a lesson so we can try to have the staff available.
Showing up promptly at 2pm will ensure you can get in on the lesson, or get paired up with someone else to play. Once play starts, kids may have to wait for the others’ first game to end before repairing if there is time. We will do our best to accommodate, but having everyone present at the start of the event makes it easiest for us to pair players with others of similar skill level.
