The Columbia Gorge Aeromodelers is sponsoring an RC Float Fly at Rowena March 18th at 9am weather permitting.

The Columbia Gorge Aeromodelers is an AMA sanctioned club run by volunteers. They meet periodically, sometimes using the Hood River Hobbies rear area, sometimes at the Barrett Flying Field.

The best way to find out about club events and activities is to join the club, or send us and email to info(at)hoodriverhobbies.com letting us know your interest so that we can can direct you to the club, and we also send out periodic emails about rc flying events for both airplanes and drones. They also  have a website and a facebook page.

Although a great community resource, the CGA is not directly affiliated with Hood River Hobbies LLC which accepts no responsibility for date, time, or location changes of events, or flying mishaps or other issues at club sponsored events. Hood River Hobbies, LLC supports the club with donations, free meeting space, help with event promotion, our volunteer time, and occasional group preorders.

This club is intended for all levels of pilots who want to meet other RC enthusiasts and share ideas and the hobby. Our staff can help you pick out the best rc planes and drones for flying events and locations – just ask!
