Bird Walks by The Larks
The Larks are a volunteer group of bird watchers that have a meetup generally once a month on the second Sunday of the month at 8am (times vary) at different locations in the Gorge.
The goal is to watch and count birds and it is led and maintained by volunteers. The location of meeting is determined a week or so beforehand and emailed out to those interested. If you would like to be on this list, and also receive other emails from Hood River Hobbies about bird watching events or citizen science counts such as the Christmas Bird Count, please email us at info(at)hoodriverhobbies.com and ask to be put on the list.
Although this is a great community resource, Hood River Hobbies LLC is not directly affliated with this volunteer group and does not accept responsibility for time or location changes or mishaps that occur along the way.
Hood River Hobbies does have expert bird watchers on staff that can help you select a great pair of binoculars or help pick out a feeder or bird book, and we volunteer for local community citizen science efforts whenever possible to do our part to conserve birds and their habitats.
