Friday Night Magic is scheduled to be a Booster Draft $15 Entry, drafting starts at approximately 6:30pm (be a few minutes early to register).  Hood River Hobbies adheres to tournament formats and rules set forth by Wizards of the Coast. For booster drafts, three packs will be provided to make a deck with by passing cards around a table. See this site for more details.

Hood River Hobbies, LLC hosts Friday Night Magic the Gathering trading card game tournaments every week and formats and fees vary. Please check in advance for last minute updates, changes, or questions. Tournaments start at 6:30pm so please arrive a few minutes early to register (payment and DCI number or to be assigned one). End time of events vary depending on the number of and experience of players, as well as the speed of play. When numbers of players are uneven, one person may be given a “bye” for that round and may stay in the shop or watch the games of others.

Parents must register children. All ages are welcome, but this is not a supervised or instructional event so it is expected that children have supervision by an adult, or older sibling/friend or are old enough to be unsupervised and able to leave the shop alone and play and interact with adults. Hood River Hobbies, LLC is not responsible for unsupervised children, lost or stolen items or unfair trades.

For three-round tournaments, we do pack-per win prizes with Friday Night Magic promos for the top placers and some randomly distributed. For tournaments that go for 4 or more rounds, we distribute prizes to the top half.

We do our best to provide a safe, fun, fair play environment with staff available. If you are interested in a supervised event or instruction on how to play the game or details of different tournament formats, Hood River Hobbies, LLC does generally offer a Sunday Afternoon Class where these are available.
