Friday Night Magic is scheduled to be casual play- Commander or Standard Brawl. Bring a deck. See image below for more info on brawl. $5 entry. Play starts at 6pm – come a few minutes early to register. If we have enough players to do a standard brawl tournament we will run the event that way.

We can also do Booster Drafts on demand with 8 or more players.  $15

Hood River Hobbies adheres to tournament formats and rules set forth by Wizards of the Coast. For three-round tournaments, we do pack-per win prizes with Friday Night Magic promos for the top placers and some randomly distributed.

End time of events vary depending on the number of and experience of players, as well as the speed of play. When numbers of players are uneven, one person may be given a “bye” for that round and may stay in the shop or watch the games of others.

Parents must register children. All ages are welcome, but this is not a supervised or instructional event, and children may need to be supervised by a parent or guardian. Hood River Hobbies, LLC is not responsible for unsupervised children, lost or stolen items or unfair trades. We do our best to provide a safe, fun, fair play environment with staff available. If you are interested in a supervised event or instruction on how to play the game, Hood River Hobbies, LLC does generally offer a Friday 4pm Magic Club where these are available for kids, tween, and teens.
