Please bring your own indoor suitable RC Plane or Quadcopter, charged batteries and a charger. Although it is not the largest gym in town, it is the only available to us through HR Community Ed at this time for a low fee.We generally alternate flights between types of fliers if it is too hard to fly them together – for example large 3d foamies, ultra light air planes, Large drones that are really intended for outdoor use and small quads often need their own flight space and time. If there is too much conflict between types of fliers, we may segment the time and have one group come early, and one late. But we think it is fun to watch all the different types of indoor fliers, but safety always comes first.
Please come to the start of the first class for a briefing on safety and rules if you have not been before. We want to make sure that everyone stays out of the flying area when it is not clear so that no one gets hit by an RC vehicle. We also want to make sure that people and kids watch where they are stepping and make sure not to damage other people’s expensive gear.
We also suggest bringing your box for your items, and store them in or on the box when not in use. When people are looking up while flying, they are not able to watch where they are stepping. 100% of the class fees go to HR Community Ed and we are their volunteers for this event. Hood River Community Ed and Hood River Hobbies LLC cannot accept liability for broken vehicles – although we are always happy to advise on repairs.
